31 Day Blog Challenge! 16th MAY

16th. A customised item

I don't really customise. I have few shirt's here and there but I tend to leave that to the talented people. What I do is jewellery. I manipulated today's outfit to showcase a few of my creations. Then I have some up close pics.

Weve all seen this dress
Handmade "Size Doesnt Matter" bows

Handmade "Feeling Fruity" bracelet

Handmade Rose charm
I like playing around with beading, bows and clay :)

Mucho Love.

31 Day Blog Challenge! 15th MAY

15th. Nail art/your favourite polish and your nail varnish collection

Readers of my blog will know that I wear fake nails. This is because I literally bite mine constantly. I cant stop. I started growing them for my wedding but as Ive been biting them for years they grew back brittle and then I just gave up. I started using fake nails for everyday use when I knew Pete was proposing so I had nice hands for my pretty rings. I'm barely without them.

So here's a few pics of my nails recently.

I have hoards of make up and nail varnish but am not really that bothered about making too much of a deal about it. Maybe I should. I used to be an Avon rep hence why 90% off my make up and nail varnishes are from Avon. I don't really care about brands etc or spending alot. The only thing I insist on spending a few extra pennies on is concealer and eye liner. However, the eyeliner from Avon is brill.

Anyway, off subject! I keep my nails short so I can type properly at work (I can touch type, don't cha know) and so I'm not constantly snagging them. I find different brands are better than others but hey ho. So yeah, these are my nails! I'm going through a phase where not all the nails are the same and I single some out. Also using cheap craft glitter then a a top coat of clear for an extra bit of sparkle :)

Unfortunately I don't have a pic of my fave nail varnish AND Ive run out of them but the Avon Matte Colours are AMAZE. They dry super fast and they look brill. I would recommend them to anyone. I had all of the colours and will be ordering every single colour again when pay day arrives (grey cement was my fave).

31 Day Blog Challenge! 12th, 13th and 14th MAY

12th. The outfit you've had the best times in
13th. Your lazy day at home with style (in front of your housemates/bf/visitor) outfit
14th. The item that was hardest to hunt down/buy

So Ive been a bad blogger and haven't stayed committed to my 31 posts in 31 days game. To be fair, we've had a hectic weekend! First our car broke down and hubs had to get towed home and the car was out of action for the weekend. Its only a 4 year old car so to be frank, we were pretty pissed of to be honest! Pete then had to start his best mans stag do at 4pm (he was our best man and Petes his best man next week) so as we had no car, I too was turfed out at 4pm. I had to get ready at my mums and then taxi into town.

I then went to my friends birthday party where instead of getting drunk and partying the night away, I ended up staying behind with the birthday boy - who had got so drunk, set fire to his face and then passed out - that myself and Alison ended up putting him in the recovery position and that was the night done for me. I crashed the stag do and we went home.

So Sunday was the boot sale. After 4 hours sleep, me Nan and Pap came round to help me with the boot sale and help me they did not. My Pap heckled everyone and my not so subtle Nan kept "whispering" about foreigners etc. I had to bite my tongue as I do not talk back to my elders. Ironically, they taught me my manners.

Anyway, on to the post. 3 in 1!

12th. The outfit you've had the best times in

This is difficult as I have lots of clothes and if its something special, I tend to buy a new dress for! Plus I cant use my wedding dress as I used that as a cop out on a previous post. Doh!

I'm literally going through my Facebook photos and there are no pictures where I'm wearing the same thing more than once. Except my wedding dress. So the first cop out of the night is this.... I enjoy my clothes. I may not have the most expensive or the most up to date, but I do the best I can with the resources provided to me. So for this date, I will chose my leopard print dress. I got it for a mega bargain on eBay and have worn it for my friends hen do, Christmas with the girls and my fave bosses leaving do. Its cute, its dressing up-able and dress down-able (yeah, they're words, and what!).

13th. Your lazy day at home with style (in front of your housemates/bf/visitor) outfit

So this is pretty much what I wore yesterday once I returned from the car boot and had awaken from a much needed nap. I wore this to walk across the road to Petes Mum & Dads where his sister and my cute adorable nephew was (he hates my style) and pretty much slummed it. I don't really do joggers but my leggings were in the wash and I really couldn't deal with jeans.

Old top from new look

Joggers are from somewhere lol

Oh yeah, the Harry Potter hoodage!!

14th. The item that was hardest to hunt down/buy

Oh my god, are you freaking kidding me. My wedding shoes by FAR were the hardest thing in my entire life that Ive had to locate.

In fact, my third ever post on this blog was about my search for wedding shoes and what I did in the end..

31 Day Blog Challenge! 11TH MAY

11th. Your spring essential

I wouldn't exactly call it my 'spring' essential. Just an essential!

I used to heavily rely on dry shampoo to get me through the week as when I was red, too much washing zapped the colour so used to wash it once during the week and again at the weekend. My hairs always been pretty good with holding its own between washing being greasy at the roots but nothing I couldn't hide by pinning my fringe back. But since my hair has been short Ive noticed it a bit more.

Normally I use Batiste but I was broke and noticed this in Tesco - on sale for £1 - thought it couldn't hurt for a quid so here it is. Its called Girlz Only (see... its cool because its a Z and not an S). Its the Hazy Days version that "revives hair between washes".

Before - Mega Grease right!?
After - Yeah , dumb face

I know for a product to cover THAT much grease, it must be good, right?! For example, I used a shine spray yesterday and got to work without checking an actual mirror. When I did, It honestly looked like I had poured grease into my hands and rubbed it into my hair. I spent the rest of the day trying to fashion a paper clip into a hair grip, just to pin it back. Then the fire alarm went off (I'm a fire warden) so spent the afternoon in the rain. I honestly looked like a wet chip. When I got home, before I rocked into Tesco, I freshened my hair up with this stuff and It looked like the day had never happened.

It was good sh*t!

So yeah, I HEART dry shampoo and will buy it forever. I would defo recommend Girlz Only - Even if it is spelt with a Z.

31 Day Blog Challenge! 10th MAY

10th. Cute tights

I'm really rubbish with tights. Ive only just started wearing them again after finding that Evans tights fit me nicely. Also gave me a bit of a buzz when I realised I should have downsized from size 3 as they are too big!

So, I'm going to show you my favourite tights and then I'll show you the tights I want :)

Grey

Purple
So these tights are from Evans and I reviewed them a while back here. I never used to fit into size 2's but since wearing them and washing them a few times, they've loosened quite nicely.

I want these :)

and then these :)

Ooooh and these...

I feel like death warmed up so have to go to bed. I promise I'll make more effort tomorrow!

31 Day Blog Challenge! 8th MAY

8th. Something you forget you have but love

Difficult this one. Because if I've forgotten it, how can I remember I love it! So scrapping the the "first thing that comes to mind" rule (as its my blog and I say so :D) I decided to trawl through old photos of my to find my long lost love.

1. My red hair

I know, I know, I said here that I would miss my red hair. And I know It doesn't exactly constitute as "having" but I have fond memories (see what I did there) and wished I had it back, at that length. I am again so bored with my hair and need a complete change up.

2. Evans Bird Print Top

I got this top in the Evans sale for under a fiver which I was so mega chuffed about. Its a great fit, hugging my tiny tiny titties and flowing below to hide the '9months belly but not actually pregnant' stomach.

This is me and hubz in Vegas the first time I went. It was freeeeeeeeaking hot (see, cardy still on!).

I totes forgot I had it and may even wear it for work tomorrow.

3. My Harry Potter Attire

This may be the most expensive thing I bought back from Vegas. My Harry Potter hoody. Its my pride and joy - or it was, sadly I have no idea as to its whereabouts right not which actually makes me die inside. It cost me $50 and the PJ bottoms were about $20 but I had to have. Im a die hard Harry Potter fan and even have a Potter tattoo (I have "Mischief Managed" tattooed on wrist and the other side I have the deathly hallows sign (whole other story)).

About a week after we got back I was still looking after this hoody when my idiot husband left the bedroom door open and our puppies took the liberty of knocking the door, in turn knocking my hoody off the hook and proceeded to munch a chunk out of it. Its only the inside pocket so its not visible but I was devastated.

I'm going to dig this lovely out tomorrow :)

There we have it :)

Mucho Loving my lovelies
